Programme
The programme is now finalised - so please see below for changes. Ahem. The PDFs listed here do not include these changes as of this writing.
We have two separate booklets:
- Programme Grid
This contains the grid of what's on, when and in which room. It also has the maps of the two floors where all the programming takes place and, handily located on the back page, the opening times of food places, bars, registration, and so on. But bear in mind the changes too - Read Me and Programme Guide
This contain everything else. It's full of vital information which you should read, plus descriptions of the programme items listed in the Grid booklet. - Hotel Maps
The floor plans that are included in the Programme Grid. You'll be getting your own printed version, of course, but you may find these separate files useful too. - Restaurant Guide
This isn't anything to do with the programme, but it's one of the printed items you'll find in your con-pack, so we're listing it here...
You will, of course, be getting your own copies of both these booklets when you register upon arrival, but they're here for your convenience anyway.

Writing workshop at Orbital with the T-Party
The T-Party, a London-based writers group specialising in SF/F/H, will run a half-day writers workshop at Eastercon on Easter Monday. The T-Party will provide experienced critiquers to operate in pairs with small (3/4) groups of writers. These critiquers will include 2 agented writers, a BFS Award winning editor and, subject to other commitments, double World Fantasy Award winner Bruce Holland Rogers.
The Writing Workshop is now full.
BSFA Awards
We are pleased to be hosting the BSFA awards.
Disco themes
We have music and dancing on most evenings:
- On Friday night, we will have a ceilidh (like a barn dance, only with kilts), with music and calling by Pigeon English
- On Saturday night, following the masquerade and cabaret, we will be having a disco, where the theme is con virgins and con pros. However you might choose to interpret that (ahem!), the idea is to give you an opportunity to show off those obscure t-shirts from the many, many cons you've attended.
- On Sunday night, after Mitch Benn, we'll be having a second disco, where the theme is dark fantasy. This is an opportunity to show off your fantasy costumes, or those Rennaissance outfits from renfayres, or just to dig out the ol' leather jacket again.
Mitch Benn
On Sunday evening, we'll be entertained for an hour by Mitch Benn. Mitch is well-known as a musical satirist, and had rave reviews at last year's Edinburgh Festival. He's also well-known as an sf fan.
